Hardware Control Layer — NexusOS Documentation
The Hardware Control Layer bridges NexusOS software to physical spectral hardware. The PHR-1 Syncbox Controller is the primary interface, implementing phase-locked resonance at the Golden Angle (137.5°) and impedance matching to free space (Z₀ = 376.73Ω).
PHR-1 Syncbox Controller
The PHR-1 (Planetary Harmonic Resonator) is the physical hardware interface for NexusOS:
- 144-turn bifilar coil (counter-wound)
- Phase-locked loop at Golden Angle (137.5°)
- Impedance matching network (target: 377Ω)
- ALP (Axion-Like Particle) sensor array
Control Sequence:
- Anchor phase to reference oscillator
- Sync to Golden Angle (137.5°)
- Match impedance to Z₀ = 376.73Ω
- Establish 90° quadrature
- Initiate gravity de-correlation
- Achieve ZERO-G envelope (ALP < 0.0001)
Nexus Kernel API
Python control layer for hardware integration:
set_phase(degrees) / get_phase() — coil phase angle
pulse_frequency(hz, duration) / set_carrier(hz) — frequency control
match_impedance(target_ohms) / read_impedance() — impedance matching
apply_czc_filter(iterations) / get_coherence() — CZC coherence filtering
read_alp() / calibrate_alp() — axion-like particle sensing
ZERO-G State Achievement
The ZERO-G (Zero-Gravity Envelope) state is achieved through precise phase alignment:
- Phase: 137.5° (Golden Angle)
- Impedance: 377Ω (free space match)
- Quadrature: 90° (orthogonal coupling)
- ALP threshold: < 0.0001
- Iterations to convergence: ~400
When phase alignment reaches the Golden Angle and impedance matches free space (Z₀ = 376.73Ω), the gravitational coupling coefficient approaches zero.
Equation: ALP(t) = ALP₀ × e^(−t/τ) × cos(φ − 137.5°). As φ → 137.5° and Z → 377Ω, ALP → 0.
