Orbital Treasury — NXT Circular Economy

The Orbital Treasury is the economic core of NexusOS. Every NXT transaction fee flows here — never burned. The treasury distributes to five governance-controlled buckets, enforced on-chain by spectral authority weighting.

Distribution Buckets

Maintenance: 35% — infrastructure and codebase upkeep
Deliverables: 25% — funded milestones and hardware builds
Research: 20% — physics research and protocol development
Agent Rewards: 10% — AI agent and contributor incentives
Nexus Charitable Trust: 10% — in perpetuity, cannot be changed

These ratios are governance parameters. KERNEL-band holders can propose changes via on-chain proposals, subject to vote weight thresholds. The Nexus Charitable Trust allocation is permanently locked — not a governance parameter.
