NexusOS Roadmap — From Digital Substrate to Photonic Gate Array
NexusOS development progresses in three distinct phases, each building on the last. The destination is a Kardashev Type I civilization operating system — hardware that runs on physics, not cryptography.
Phase 1 — Digital Substrate (Now)
- WNSP protocol live: 25,600 orthogonal Ψ channels on software substrate
- WavelengthScript compiler α: physics-native programming language
- CE→SE pipeline: any language to spectral bytecode
- NXT token: NEXUS•WAVELENGTH on Bitcoin Runes (block 952596:379)
- WNSP VM: browser-native bytecode interpreter
Phase 2 — PHR-1 Hardware Layer (2026–2028)
- PHR-1 bifilar resonator: 144-turn coil, measurable standing EM waves
- SNIC optical demonstrator: wavelength-selective channel separation ±2nm
- 25 Hardware Founder units: first physical implementation of compression state theory
Phase 3 — Photonic Gate Array (~2032)
- SNIC photonic NIC production: 25,600 physical waveguide channels
- CE lookups execute as physical wavelength selections in glass
- ⟨Ψᵢ|Ψⱼ⟩ = 0 by quantum mechanics — no software policy required
- No code rewrite: NexusOS already speaks in wavelengths
