Hardware Treasury — NexusOS Hardware Funding Pool
The Hardware Treasury is the dedicated funding pool for NexusOS physical hardware development. It is sourced from the Deliverables bucket of the Orbital Treasury (25% of all NXT protocol fees).
Funded Hardware Projects
- PHR-1 Resonator: 144-turn bifilar coil, Syncbox Controller firmware, production tooling
- SNIC Photonic NIC: 25,600-channel optical demonstrator → production ASIC pathway
- Spectral Relay Mesh: multi-hop WNSP routing hardware for network nodes
All hardware funded by the Hardware Treasury is AGPL-3.0 licensed. Improvements must be open-sourced.
