NexusOS Hardware OS — Photonic Computing Platform
NexusOS Hardware OS is the operating system layer that bridges the WNSP protocol software stack to physical photonic hardware. It coordinates the PHR-1 resonator, the SNIC photonic NIC, and the WavelengthScript runtime into a coherent physics-native computing platform.
Silicon is the bridge. Photonics is the destination. The Hardware OS is designed so that no code rewrite is needed when silicon transitions to glass — it already speaks in wavelengths.
- PHR-1 resonator driver: 144-turn bifilar coil, Syncbox Controller, WavelengthScript v1.0 API
- SNIC driver: 25,600 physical waveguide channels, zero-rewrite migration from software WNSP
- WavelengthScript runtime: physics-native language execution on hardware registers
- AGPL-3.0: all improvements must be open-sourced
