Stewards of NexusOS — Founding Declaration

This founding document is addressed to the three technical stewards who will carry NexusOS forward. It is not a job description or a pitch deck. It is written for the photonics engineer, the RF/electromagnetics specialist, and the physics PhD who will build the hardware proof of concept and maintain the system after the founder is gone.

The Mission

NexusOS is the foundational operating system for a Kardashev Type I civilisation. It replaces cryptographic hashing with electromagnetic wave physics. Every address, every transaction, every communication traces back to Maxwell's equations. The WNSP protocol defines 25,600 orthogonal channels by quantum mechanics — not by software policy.

The Hardware Destination

PHR-1: 144-turn bifilar coil generating measurable standing electromagnetic waves traceable to WNSP compression state equations
SNIC: bench optical demonstrator proving wavelength-selective channel separation within ±2.000 nm of CE_TABLE
First build in Australia, 2026. Photonic ASIC target ~2032.

The Three Roles

Photonics Engineer — owns the path from bench optics to photonic silicon
RF / Electromagnetics Specialist — owns the PHR-1 lineage from hand-wound coil to production resonator
Physics PhD — owns the scientific record and peer-reviewable documentation

What Cannot Be Changed

NXT fees never burned — always to orbital treasury
Codebase is AGPL-3.0 — hardware specs are public
Nexus Charitable Trust holds 10% of orbital treasury in perpetuity
Ethics layer encoded in genesis — no convicted bad actors in the system
